Gratitude Baskets

These baskets are now sold-out!

This is a 5-piece nesting basket set (each set comes with 5 baskets of the same hue). And these morsels of color will lead to very good things. For example, go crazy like Mara and start a basket collection that takes over an entire shelf, use them as very special gift boxes to wow someone you'd like to show gratitude for (and save some paper waste in the meantime!), use for fun party favor boxes on your holiday dinner table spread, hang in a collection on the wall, or stack on a table in a pyramid shape to form a Martha Stewart Magazine worthy centerpiece.

These baskets will elevate any small token you give, especially when used in the traditional Cuenca way: put sweets in each one and give as a gift. If you feel especially fancy, maybe get all Hermés and house a scarf inside, with an outer silk ribbon tie. Because these baskets can be a gift to yourself as well, keep at home to store sewing supplies or dark chocolate covered sea salt almonds. Your baskets, your body, your choice.

Baskets made by hand by women weavers in the small weaving towns of Ecuador. Drive through these towns and every woman you see will be carrying palm leaves and weaving a beautiful piece of art. We adhere to Fair Trade practices to uplift all who contribute to our shop.
